This is the final edition of the Heavenly Cask Collection and finishes the collection off in a great way. This collection was not offered in the US but is available in the Guatemala airport Zacapa store. Wrapping up a fishing trip yesterday I was lucky to bring a few bottles home with me. Both 3rd & Final edition were still available, but having LaArmonia several times before I chose 2 La Paison and glad I did. Typical Zacapa dark brown color and Solara aged 23 years then extra aged in Pedro Ximenez Sherry casks. This combination is less sweet tha Z 23 bursting with rich flavor from start to a long spicy finish. Very good rum, not quite as good as Straight from the Cask or Reserve Limitada 2019. If you can find it try it.

Tip for returning US citizens from Guatemala you have to purchase the rum at airport after checking your luggage and then carry on the plane when boarding. If you have a connecting flight you will need to transfer the rum to your checked luggage before rechecking it and going through security. Otherwise they will confiscate it.
