Originally from Newfoundland. I think my love for rum come from the taste of course but also from the history. I remember my father telling me stories of ships going to the Carribbean loaded with fish and other goods from Newfoundland and returning with rums from various countries. I first started drinking none other then Newfoundland Screech and over the years still love it. One of my favorited is Captain Morgan 1671.
