Liked it even less than Morgan's spiced, but i used to drink that stuff many years ago. Wouldn't bother, ever again.

Popular, widely known, readily available and that's as far as its merits go. Foolish me used to drink it neat, until i hopped on board "captain and cola". Too much vanilla. But hey, you 've got to start from somewhere, no? I just finished a bottle that i've been keeping half empty, since 2011.

One of my first better quality rums. Nice and balanced.

Nice oak aroma, taste of nutmeg, roasted hazelnuts and a hint of caramel. One of my favorites rum

Legendary rum Cuban rum, cocoa, vanilla, cedar, sweet tobacco good for that money.

Average Cuban rum. Strong alcohol punch, good for that money, as other said, remind me HC7

The nose is very sweet, with a lot of vanilla and coconut. Excellent rum. One of my favorites, one of that bottle, tha I must have in my cabinet. highly recommended.

The nose is slightly sweet with molasses, slightly smokey with orange notes.Good sipper.

Very sweet rum, significant banana flavor with a caramel undertone. Nice bottle. Highly recommend it to women's.

A rich 12 years old rum, with complex flavours. Nice and fresh cane aromas, honey... Very good rum, perfect for sipping. And has a nice bottle like from old pharmacy.

This Rum was quite tasty. Great to work with even for preparing special dishes. Good Agricole rum without being to agressive in it's vanilla notes.

Smells a bit acetone but is most pleasant flavour than that. Hints of pineapple. Pretty good for the price.

This rum doesn't have as much burn as I expected. A bit funky, but way less than I expected. Definitely a nice fancy sipper. Smooth while having character.

I did not know something like this existed. On first pour, there is an apparent scent of Pinon nuts which are local to NM. This is a great sipper. Not too hot and not at all sweet.

This was a special bottle single barrel from my friend Jim at the Mansion single barrel released for them only at 63.45%. One of the best American made rums to date from the great state of Texas. Aged 100% in new oak barrels my bourbon loving friends liked it, versus most Caribbean bourbon barrel aged rums. Nice color and aroma a bit of an alcohol nose but very solid spirit.

Not my preference but very solid will like trying it as an old fashioned.

If I get a sore throat and cough I am reaching for this! It has a very strange color....like Ricola. It has a very strange taste...like Ricola. Sort of an herbal Jaegermeister, Robitussin mix. I was tempted to take it with a spoon. It would have been a natural in a Wild West medicine show peddled from a covered wagon! Strong like medicine too! The more I sipped it the more I kind of liked it. It’s smooth too, in an earthy medicinal way. I like it. Especially if it helps my cough! Hey Billy Bob! Give me a couple bottles of this Wild West Ricola tonic will ya?

Pro mě krásné pitelný rum s lehkou chutí karamelu a dubu. Lehce ostřejší, ale ne nepříjemný. 18-ti letý je samozřejmě ještě lepší, ale také dražší.

Nice dark gold agricole from real sugarcane. Not a long aged rum but gives you the typical French island rum hues. Not for everyone but would make a hell of a good authentic Ruhm Ti punch.

Always looking for a bargain i was interested to see what Aldi's more premium own brand could achieve. This is their attempt at Kraken but it obviously falls short of the mark. Not as much as I thought it would though! Does say it has a finish including lime and their not wrong. It's not recommended to drink neat though but mix with some cola and it's easily drinkable. Having said that if your really trying to save pennies and you absolutely have to something close to Kraken fine...but as it stands right now in the UK this bottle was about £16 and Kraken is going for between £20-£23 I would say spend a few extra pennies and get the real deal. Or you could always go for a different spiced rum over black, barcardi 'oakheart' or 'spiced' i would suggest for 2 quid more

I found this to be almost devoid of flavor. Very smooth though. Some nice bite that was very easy to drink. Zero finish. Not a sipper. If it were vodka, I would rate it higher! I drink rum for Flavor and complexity as well as smooth bite. Might make the perfect mixer for some cocktails.

This definitely has flavour but tastes somewhat like scotch. Has peat flavour. If you like that.
