Easy to enjoy without being dull or boring. On the sweeter side of the spectrum, but that's just a bonus if you prefer it that way (like me).
Cross Keys Island Tradition review posted 3 years ago by LordImmaFord United States 🇺🇸 | 16 ratings
Smells okay so I thought the flavor would be stronger but the flavor really does get drowned out by any mixer added. Straight it's similar to Morgan, which for the price and the claim of being a 5-year aged rum isn't what I wanted from this rum. I wanted a more full bodied flavor. I wanted a flavor but it seems to have been wasted on the aroma. Still, it isn't a bad rum just lacking a personality.

Origin R. 1997 Guyana 18-Year review posted 3 years ago by Co Ka Switzerland 🇨🇭 | 88 ratings
Very light color, but very intensive nose. Nice tropical scent, dried figs and almonds. Very smooth and sweet, tabaco and wood. And a enjoyable end. Very nice rum, well done.
No sugar added, no color added. And 46% in a great long lasting sip.
Plantation XO 20th Anniversary review posted 3 years ago by kudzey Poland 🇵🇱 | 38 ratings
The bottle tries to be fancy and representative but looking at it you know it's only pretending. Golden brown color with moderate thickness, basic rum in the glass.
Fruity sweet aroma with banana and apricot, floral notes and vanilla.
Very sweet and thick in the mouth with little alcohol bite at the beginning, caramel and molasses. It is then followed by some barrel and leather notes, lingering on in the woody and dry finish. Modest aftertaste with wood, rust and metal.
This rum is not bad but lacks complexity.
Botucal Reserva Exclusiva review posted 3 years ago by kudzey Poland 🇵🇱 | 38 ratings
Stylish bottle contains golden brown liquid with moderate thickness.
Sweet aroma with hints of molasses and brown sugar, caramel and milk, very similar to creme brulee, which is continued by fruits like banana and orange. Sweet beginning is accompanied by delicate woody and smoky notes. The smell is absolutely free from any alcoholic hints. After around 20 minutes the aroma contains hints of cane (but not fermented like in the case of agricole).
Sugary and spicy first sip with some nutmeg taste and dried fruits. Seems water-dilluted but I can feel some milky notes followed by chocolate with thick sugary sweetness. At some point the initial mouth sensation gets covered by woody finish and the aftertaste is composed of chocolate, wood and leather.
It's a sweet one, not too complex but not bad after all.

Just want to try this 5+3 younger brother of 5+5... lighter color, not so smooth ... personally prefer 5+5 more... here I am missing the maturate taste... the good think is price 25€.... but next time will spend little more for 2 more years

I don't know why but I wasn't expecting this one to be tasty. I thought it will be a bit harsh and undefined. But after a first sip I was convinced by a solid aroma and mild aftertaste. Not the best in the world but a nice change and great addition to my usual collection. Good find!

I thought it would be even sweeter so that was a relief but problem I thought it would have some more flavor, very flat..

Thanks, Andy. Yeah, any domain in a user name should def be caught. My auto fills imputed it and I didn’t notice. It would also be good to at least have a “request user name change” in the settings if it isn’t going to be self-managed....

I liked this and I didn't. It's a bit too much sweet here. But it's great for a rum and coke.

Nice jamaican rum. Since I'm not into too much funk this one worked for me. Nice sipper and I'd bet it would work great in drinks.

This rum is very sweet with a lot vanilla, cane, ripe fruits and a bit of oak. I prefer the Cask Strength 30 series though. This is good but a bit too sweet.

Sure thing no problem at all I just updated your username to Marc but am happy to change it again to whatever name you want. Initially when setting up RR we decided username was the only setting that couldn’t be altered by users to avoid confusion if someone for example changed it daily. But the downside is these examples where an email is used. We’ll look to put a ‘catch’ in place when signin...

RumGuy! Sorry, can’t answer that cause I haven’t tasted that one. But those I’ve tasted haven’t disappointed me, so it’s because of that I recommended the JM. I’m sure 1998 is a great Rhum. I’ve tasted the VSOP and the ones on the added picture....

An amazing starter rum, I got this as a gift for my birthday and now I cant wait to try the 15 and the 21.

Sweet, enjoyable and forgiving. You can always enjoy a glass or 15 of this one. Great rum to present non-pirates to, unless they are already into whiskey or cognac.
