I just saw in one of the articles (Best Rums in the World) posted in the website, that stated rum Matusalem being from Dominican Republic. That ron is from Santiago de Cuba, and although is produced in DR, should be described as Cuban. I think it goes hand to hand with the history of it...

I know where your comming from. It is like me trying to people explain that Leonardo Di Vinci, should be known as Leonardo Di Bacchereto. Because there is potential evidence he came from Bacchereto, and only went to Vinci to have more space. Allegedly, those who in the local councils who control the Tourist Vinci franchises and outlets, gaining great revenues, are also the same people who are responsible for making the 'investigations' as to where Leonardo was from over many decades, with no evidentiary findings ever published. Here is a clue. Where is the house of his Grandparents?
