Any Infos on Caribbean Club Rum (former Varadero)

Hi, I'd like to know any infos about Caribbean Club Rums. I bought a bottle of Varadero 15 and I found under the Varadero label a older Caribbean Club 15 label. It seems Varadero took it over, but only the brand. Is the actual Varadero 15 still the same made as the Caribbean Club 15. Is my bottle something rare I should keep and not open (well, I already did that with one, but I got a second one). Thanks for any infos
