40% ABV. Equal parts 5yo and 9yo. 80% French oak (1/3 new 2/3 used), 20% bourbon.
Very mellow, very smooth and enticing. A bit harsher on the palate. Lots more oak than ESB. That cherry note remains. Kinda reminds me of Richland crossed with Clement Cask.
This is an incredibly smooth, beautiful sipping rhum where oak maturation has softened the grassy notes into a wonderfully complex rhum agricole. I'm thrilled Trois Rivières can now be found in the USA.
