Rich and aromatic, but not overpowering. Mixes well with soda.

Nach dem ersten Schluck war ich doch etwas enttäuscht. Schmeckt etwas brennend, dünn, fast schon wässrig und hält geschmacklich nicht wirklich an.Eignet sich für mich nur zum mixen mit O-Saft. Dafür ist er zu teuer, das kann ein Myers preiswerter.

Don't get me wrong, the rum is good, but unfortunately it's not for my palate, it's very dry and smokey

When a nice bottle out does what is inside it, it is a little disappointing and that is the case for me. This rum is dry (which i like) not too sweet at all (which I like) but there is just a complete lack of depth or character to this rum. I even find it a bit sour tasting. There is nothing at all that stands out. In the price point there are several other rums - Stades No.8, Real McCoy, Matusalem, Cana Fuerte 7 year, Doorly's, R.L. Seale even Don Q 7 which beat this rum everyday of the week. And they are all not too sweet and also dry rums for the most part.

I think I can put this rum in the top five. Good taste, and aroma. And it was the best rum in its price segment.

Nice solid and smooth rum from Dominica. I would este 7,5 if possible

Skvěle vyvážený, suchý, velmi jemný rum, který má naprosto bezkonkurenční poměr cena/výkon.
Ve spojení s povedenou lahví je to další ze stálice mého rumového baru. Jeden z těch rumů, které můžete v klidu popíjet celý večer a nepřestane chutnat.

Один из старших Barcelo не хватает звезд с неба, но как середнячок он весьма неплох. Отдельно можно отметить частые и большие скидки на него у меня в стране, поэтому за свои деньги Imperial очень неплох.
