Au nez, on sent la cerise noire. Il est doux et au gout, on perçoit la vanille et la cerise. Il est différent de tous ce que j'ai déjà goûté. Ce n' est pas dans mes favoris, Il me fait penser au Dzama.

Good basic mixer. Nothing more, nothing less. I found this at a Filipino grocery store and was intrigued. If you can get this for a great price, go for it. I'd compare it to something like Don Q Gold.

Just wow. For $22 US this rum is smooth and loaded with flavor and character. Sweet and oaky on the nose and those both come along when sipped. You also get a little sweet fruitiness, caramel, molasses, and vanilla. All of the flavors seem to hit at once and then the vanilla and oak seem to hang around for a bit afterward. I truly think for the money you can’t go wrong and it’s really an all purpose rum. You can sip it and mix it without any issues. Well done, Tanduay.

Nothing glaringly poor about this rum, actually surprisingly good compared to some other Asian rums I've had in the past. Slight burn on the finish but other than that, relatively smooth and pleasant flavour.

Prima om tussen door een keer te drinken. Maar niet om nog een keer te kopen.

I get mild notes of a lot, a bit bland but very smooth & just fine and great for sipping, really for mixing it’s a complete value at $12 sometimes here at Safeway
Could some rankings be, thinking lil off due to implicit bias or something
I have, purchased one by one because I liked them & then saw the others, the silver, gold, white and dark.

Too much spiced, artificial. Taste is somehow ok, but no wish for second sip.
Approved for Cuba Libre only

Purchased at Binny's in Peoria ($17.99). Pours a benchmark Pantone gold color. Aromas of bananas and mild toasted coconut. Velvety smooth palate that feels much thicker than expected. Honey, butterscotch and a hint of licorice. Caramel toffee emerges after a few sips. Initial smoothness gives rise to a pleasant tongue tingle. As with the Tanduay Silver, this is surprisingly good for the price.

Bought this on offer, along with a bottle of Tanduay Double rum. The latter is quite magnificent, the former is a bit of a miss. I paid just 14 euros for this bottle which is really cheap, but you get what you pay for. Upon opening the bottle you get hit with an insanely strong smell, which confirms this is only suitable for mixing. Smoothes out nicely with coke, but nothing really stands out. If anything, the aftertaste is still a bit too strong. Not a bad mixer, but far from greatness.

Distinctive full-bodied sipping flavour of dark chocolate, smooth w. just-right sweetness; almond & honey in nose. Diluted too quickly on ice, 1 small ice cube ok. Little spice or complexity, but the straight-sip savour is noteworthy, will buy again.

The local store started carrying this, they said it was good, cheap enough to take a flyer on it. Tried it on ice, not bad but seemed stronger than 80 proof. Not a bad bite, just seemed strong. Nice Amber color, touch of sweetness. Certainly not bad, would buy again
