Alkohol: 45 %
Původ: Martinik
Aroma: Velmi intenzívní aroma, plné kůže, pepře a s náznakem hrubé brandy. Kůže mi přijde dominantní, pak jsem zachytil i šeřík a kořenitost. (86 b)
Body: 84
Shrnutí: Slabinou je vlastně jen ten dozvuk, jinak by to byl dost dobrý a levný rum (při nákupu ve Francii).

It almost has a whiskey type aftertaste.
Not bad for a cheapish rum

Je n’ai pas du tout aimé, c’est pas mon truc.
Après sûrement qu’il a ça clientèle.

I don't have much experience with agricole or Martinique rum specifically, but this certainly differs from anything else. Very sharp, burnt sugar up front with aromas of certain tropical flowers and I don't know how else to describe it but industrial dish detergent, giving the effect of an unwashed glass but it's all from the Rhum. Goes down fairly smooth almost like and Irish whisky or some Highland scotches. I could see using it sparingly in a lighter fruit-forward cocktail. Tastes like it would be best served cold, though I'm currently drinking it neat. Fairly harsh booze which isn't a surprise given its brief time in a barrel.

A fruity aroma, the sugar cane is still there but already a little bit tamed from the wood. The wood is also in the smell, some glue, light sharp. Also in the taste the sweetness and wood is prominent, the finish is a little bit sharp.

Fresh and elegant rum, light butter feeling & aroma. Lovely and pleasant.

Bourbon taste, makes excellent Ti Punch. Good on the rocks as well.

This is my third agricole sort. Two previous Arcane Extraroma and Barbancourt 8 I liked a lot.
Saint James is not that good. For me 50% of it tastes like whiskey. I don't like whiskey.
Other 50% of this stuff definitely sugar cane and its Ok.
I'm about to present this to my friend (whiskey fan) as the "new whiskey" and see how he likes it :)

Agricole - nak jó, de én nem nagyon szeretem. Valahogy nekem a martinique rumok nem találtak be.

For those who want to drink alone. She is a French Agricole ABV 40, lovely.
