I could drink this rum like water, is very light but a great rum, is really smooth, just lacks of flavor

Bottle No. 10325.

When you first smell you get some sticky alcohol but when it have been resting for a while you get sweet aromas of toffee, vanilla, chocolate and orange. One of the best aromas so far.

In mouth this rum is very smooth and light with a little bit of smoke and oak. You can also taste caramel, chocolate and vanilla.

The aftertaste is smooth and quite long with a little bit of spice and oak.

This is a very nice rum but I think the price is a bit too high. There are other sippers that are better and cheaper.

Bicentenario A.J Vollmer by Santa Tereza. This is meant to be a premium rum but Is not, it's far too flat and simple it's lacks depth of any real flavours. At the price is sold, you can find much more better rums. Is not a sipping spirit and for mix is too costly.

Equipment: Very nice bottle, but the cork is made of plastic.

Nose: Very gentle scent, that invites you to taste the rum

Taste: smooth and rich taste, with some orange, coffee and caramel

Aftertaste: very delicate taste, with alot of nuanced details. Caramel fudge, maby Tangarine.

We are 3 persons tasting this rum, and we all agree this is a very good rum, that have a value that comes close to the price tag. We have a rating of 85 out of 100

A true fine rum. A Vanilla, caramel flavour. Just pure!

tasted this beside Ron Abuelo 12 and El Dorado 21...this was my least favorite aroma between the three. The flavor failed in comparison also.

Dry, not sweet, slightly bitter, does not have a particular flavor, tasteless.
I was very disappointed.
From a 200 Euro bottle I expected an exceptional rum,
instead it is a rum not superior to the Havana 7-Year.

I had the opportunity to try this rum, and the truth is that the first time was a disappointment (it was one of the new bottles). Suddenly i had a lot of expectation regarding him, from different reviews and recommendations from many people. However when i tried it for the second time, which was an old bottle that i bought (N°0452) it was another my appreciation, it's a soft rum which is nice, with a light but balanced taste, very good smell, obviously not it's the best rum i have in my collection, but it's not the worst rum either. The presentation is good, both new and old, and the bottles are also very showy. However the only real drawback is the price they sell, because in fact with that price you can buy much better rums.
