Santa Teresa 1796 rum is produced in Venezuela and aged using the solera system that blends rums aged between 4 and 35 years. Before bottling, the rum is aged for a further year in large French oak casks to marry the blends.
This rum was first created in 1996 to celebrate the 200th anniversary of the establishment of the distillery, the Santa Teresa Hacienda.

This rum as other rums benefits usually from stay in the glas for some minutes to deliver right taste. It is not so sweet! recommended to the price around 45 euro!

Wonderful rum
Fruity start with a slightly sweet finish. Recommend drinking without ice.

well it's more of 8 minus for me, cause it's really good to have but if you add the price then you can probably find something better for that money.

smager ganske godt til prisen, genkøb, en "må ha" i samlingen
Based on value and comments from this site, I looked to taste this rum for a while and finally found it at a rum bar in Florida. I must say that I was not disappointed at all. It's a mellow sipping rum with a very nice bouquet. For a rum in this price range, I highly recommend it.

Venezuela se caracteriza por una tierra de buenos Rones. Este junto con Diplomático Reserva exclusiva es de los más representativos.

Bit more of an alcohol bite, but a decent sipper nonetheless. Less sweet than say an El Dorado 15.

This nice rum is light, spicy, lean and havet the taste of burned sugar, vanilla and oak. It's a really good sipping rum.

A very good gold rum... Creamy, easily consumable.

I enjoyed this rum alot. pairs well with Nica Rustica cigar from drew estate. Smooth, Dryer but really great rum
