A spiced rum that mixes well with cola. Not as sweet as some spiced rums but represents itself well. Available in many local establishments in place of the lesser level spiced rums.

Strong, easy to get carried away with this. Not the best spiced rum, I find it a little peppery. But tasty with cola. Great for getting messed up, not for savoring.

So this rum is popular but not flavorful. It is smooth but not enough to drink over rocks. Much better spiced rums are available

I prefer something with a little more style and punch than captain Morgan. Im probably overy 50 bottles easy of the stuff. Great price too

really is a smooth rum spiced nicely fairly smooth and a great bargain , normally I drink Captain Morgan's private stock as a day to day rum , this may very wall replace it as my go to rum.

This one, in the states, is the only rum (that I have seen) not called overproof that is anything but 80 proof. Being 92 proof, when I opened the bottle, I thought someone screwed up and put white lightning in it. After a few minutes in the glass, I could start to smell a little sweetness, and the cask. I had to let it breath for a good 1/2 hour before I could drink it straight up.
This is a mixer for sure. I have a bottle of white lightning I drink when the objective is to get drunk. It was good with ginger ale. I'm guessing it will make an awesome rum and coke. I'm thinking it would be a lot better at 80 proof.

Update: The closer I got to the bottom of the bottle, the more I liked this. It was breathing in the bottle, and towards the bottom, became quite good. I am thinking this should be bottled at 80 proof. Even so, as I got past 1/2 bottle, I was able to enjoy this straight up. Try some today. It's relatively cheap, too.

One of my favorite rums to mix with a couple ice cubes and ginger ale.
