Základem rumu samotného je rum Relicario Superior, který zrál v Dominikánské republice po dobu 5 až 10 let. Následné staření probíhá v renomované oblasti Speyside ve Skotsku

This is the first peated finish that I have tried. Unique and distinct; not sweet by any means. Overall a nice tasting sipping rum.

Tremendous nose! A whisky nose that is slightly sweeter and thicker. Smokey vanilla and soft notes of fruit. Very nice indeed. Entry is chewey, smokey nd dense. Nice balance here. Smooth across the pallat with oak and spice notes developing. Lovely long finish of coffee and leather with a bit of pepper right at the end. Great dram..............errrrr, I mean rum!. Yes whisky lovers, (like me,) will like this. So this begs the quetion; why aren't more distilleries experimentig with peat? They should. It adds depth, complexity and a distint flavor profile that enhances a quality rum. Slainte' for God sakes!

Rhum vieux affiné dans d anciens fût de whisky tourbé.
Cette affinage lui confère des saveurs surprenantes et vraiment plaisantes. On y retrouve vraiment le bousé et la tourbe d un whisky... Je le répète vraiment surprenant. À rester!

Nothing overwhelming. Has smoke and peat flavour. Slight aroma. Was surprised not a corked bottle.

Not that interesting by itself, it has peat flavor from peated whisky barrels from Speyside region. The packaging is high class and bottle is a good boxy chunk of glass. Cool gimmick basically.

Nothing really wrong with this one but nothing stands out either. Light on the nose with a little vanilla, oak and molasses, some raisin and smoke. On the palate the character has to come from the final stage in Scotland to give it a little kick as all the other flavours are a bit elusive. Nothing in here that seduces you to go for another sip to discover more. One dimensional rum at a pricepoint where I expect a lot more. Easygoing but also very forgettable. Maybe dry but so easy I suspect a little help has been added.

Dochuť: Hořká, jen lehce dřevitá
Nemohu nevzpomenout hrozivé Zjevení Janovo 8:11
