This rum has a touch of sweetness and light wood at the outset and then fades to a very unpleasant taste, which lingers far too long...I believe the rum is from Bacardi. Given what I think of their other offerings, this is not entirely surprising.
Don Q Cristal is about half the price and was a much better choice when compared neat and mixed.
