Ron Zacapa 23 Solera

Good for sipping.. Sweet.. Notes of vanilla, caramel, dark chocolate..

Recommend by a friend and what a great friend he is! Very smooth with a wonderful combination of flavors.

I have a hard time placing this one. This rum is somewhat similar in profile to Pampero aniversario. Similar burnt wood notes and flavor depth but not as sweet. Zacapa also hits some earthy notes similar to JM VSOP but not as bold in this sense as agricoles are. At the beginning I said I have a hard time placing it, but I can tell you that I sure enjoy the flavor.

This is one of the best rums from Ron Zacapa. Great blend and easy to find in the states. My go-to rum when the great rum gets low. Big jump from the 12 year.

I love Zacapa 23. It's my tried and true. A touch of sweetness for a long finish.

My cousin showed me his bottle but would not share. I had to buy my own bottle to see what the hullabaloo was all about. It was worth the wait.

I like this rum, but when I found out the price (received it as a Christmas present) I was a bit surprised.

Very rich, deep taste and it is smooth to the bottom of the glass.
But for the money I thought it would have been better.
