Expected much more from this one. A little bit dissapointed, just a good rum, nothing amazing for this price. Tasted in parallel with Dictador 20, and Dictador is far more better.

I bought this rum to add to my arsenal. It goes down easy and mixes well with pineapple or orange juice.

I would describe this rum as possessing a pleasant body and texture. However, the sweetness is somewhat overpowering and noticeable on the palate.

This is a really smooth sipping rum, I enjoy it with lime on the rocks. For the price this is top notch.

Aj keď je toto všeobecne známy a rozšírený rum, ktorý možno obstarať v každom lepšom pube, dostáva sa ku mne na rad až na konci prvej stovky skúšaných. Dôvodom je vyššia cena (doluuvádzaných 40€ za fľašu bola akcia miestneho obchodníka), resp. aj dosť vysoký negatívny hype. Fľaša je veľmi pekná a svojská, voltáž štandardných 40%, farba tmavá gaštanová. Vôňa je intenzívna, s výraznými tónmi karamelu, toffee, kávy a sušených hrozienok. Podobne hutná je aj chuť, pozitívne hodnotím, že rum nie je až natoľko sladký, ako som vzhľadom k vôni očakával. Je naozaj veľmi jemný, paleta tónov je bohatá, cítiť tu tiež dub, kožu, trochu dymu a sušeného ovocia. Z každého rožku trošku, pritom v tejto pestrej zmesi neevidujem žiadne rušivé momenty. Vychutený ja fakt skvelo! Koniec je možno trochu kratší ako by si človek želal, no značka ponúka aj drahšie a starenejšie kúsky (najbližšie siahnem po XO). Snáď jediným vážnejším negatívom je pomerne vysoká cena, takže ostávam pri ratingu silných 8. Pre každého rumana povinná jazda.

Smooth mouth feel with slowly growing intensity in the throat. Raisin, currant, black cherry, and molasses flavors with a medium long finish. A bit to sweet for my liking, but complex enough that the flavors don't get lost in the sweetness. Overall a very nice ride, just not something I'm willing to pay for as an every day sipper.

Aroma is good, but tastewise i personally dont like it. Its not too sweet, but taste doesnt seem genuine.
Otherwise its still smooth to drink.
