Arehucas Ron Miel

Erst War ich skeptisch einen Honig zu probieren, aber der hat mich wirklich überzeugt. Wunderbar weich und süß, aber auf Eis trotzdem nicht zu sehr wie ein Likör. Super Rum den ich immer zu Hause habe.

Otroligt söt och väldigt godislik honungslikör som är fantastik när damerna ska ha något till kaffet. Alla fruntimmer jag bjudit denna på har blivit stormförtjusta och lyckliga. Vill du glänsa för frugan köp en Miel.

A lot of rum drinkers would probably find this way too sweet, but for me, this is very smooth, very sippable and rolls off the tongue like a smooth and fine syrup. I like it very much, but it's very much a rum that you would drink once in a while rather than on a regular basis.
In taste terms it's simple - a light, caramel, vanilla and molasses based rum with a pronounced taste of honey.
It has a bit of a cult following from those who have visited the Canaries - particularly Gran Canaria - and many of us had our first taste there and then duly brought home a bottle. Does this colour our view of it....well yes, I guess it does as you get the holiday vibe from it, but it's still unusual and pretty lovely to sip.
It can be bought online, but I've never seen it in a UK shop.

Personally I found Gaujiro 30% much better in any area, however Arehucas is great as well. Sweet, brings back memories.

If you like sweet rums this one is good. My wife loves it. Now we drink rum together every night.

This was my first ever Ron Miel and I absolutely loved it. One can only imagine how good this would be if it wasn't watered down to a scarcely believable 20%.

Ron miel is not what I'd define a rum. It's more in between aguardiente and canchanchara. That said, this one is a very nice one and honestly reflecting Canary Islands traditions. Not bad at all.

This one is sickly sweet.. If you like the early don papa.. You will love this one..
