Vacilon 25-Year

Vanilla and oak. Taste is lightly sweet with hints of wood. After taste is pleasant and bittery.
Overall greatly ballanced rum.

Not like the sweet heavy cuban rums, Ron Vacilon is a light fresh rum. It has a light extremely pleasant aroma, light-goldish color a sweet nose full of vanilla witha long perfect afterburn.

Good but not great. Perhaps I was expecting more from a 25 year cuban rum. Aroma with notes of vanilla and oak. Taste overpowered by oak. Improves a little after letting it breathe and adding one cube of ice.

A bit of citrus, smooth leathery nose, it is best experienced first hand. Quite a unique experience, on par with the best of them (Havana Club Maximo, Santiago Isla del Tesoro).

It is rare to come by Cuban rums aged a quarter century!

Very fruity complex dark rum which has its color from the barrel only and not from added sugar. Recommended!
