United States | Gold | 40% ABV
Bacardi Gold rum is manufactured in Puerto Rico where it is distilled from fermented molasses. It is then filtered through charcoal and aged in charred oak barrels for between 1 and 2 years. Unlike Bacardi Superior, Bacardi Gold is only filtered once.
Bacardi's official logo, a fruit bat, dates to 1862 when founder Don Facundo Bacardi found fruit bats living in rafters of the building he bought to house the distillery. Bats are considered an omen of good luck in Cuba and have emblazoned Bacardi rum bottles ever since.

Was my regular everyday mixing rum with a Coke for many years. More flavorful than a standard Bacardi Superior or what not. Price point was okay. Not much more to say than that.
I have found Flor de Cana 4 year to be much better for similar drinking purposes but I have yet to finish my other two bottles of Bacardi Gold that have been sitting on the shelf.

Un basique intéressant pour les coktails nécessitant un rhum gold. Bon pour la pina colada.

I used to drink it with ginger ale. It tastes old, but not in a good way.

This rum is definitely not meant to be had on its own. Either way, there are much better rums at the same price point.

It’s Bacardi not much to say pretty good but again only use in cocktails
Ironically, slightly "superior" to its clear, more popular brother (named Superior for some dumb reason,) this is still pretty bad. Honestly, the only difference between this and the silver is caramel and it isn't enough to make much of a difference but it DOES make a slight difference. It at least has a small amount of taste (I know, light rum isn't supposed to have taste,) that helps kick down the kerosene smell and flavor enough to make it slightly better. I still wouldn't recommend it to a rummy but if you are a "Bacardi" fan and don't want to spend much money, it's better than Superior by a hair but not by a whole point.

Абсолютно неинтересный ром для коктейлей, сложно вспомнить вкус
I’m usually a fan of gold rums but this one left me wanting more.

Good for mixing with cola when you don't care what you drink on a party.

Try to get a well lit shot from the front of the rum label

This an ok rum, but it's very plain compared to most other rums. Smell isn't great; a hint of vanilla over alcohol, and the taste is also ordinary for a rum - it's also alcohol with a small hint of vanilla. Pretty easy drinking at 40%abv, but there's much better out there.
