Bon Voyage Bar. Asked for a Top Shelf rum, neat. First sip was not best my pallet was dirty. Second on was great, oak aged, more of Whiskey taste to me. I'm still a noob to rum. Stayed smooth not much difference of starting taste to finishing taste. I did enjoy it.

I cracked this bottle open with a few friends, while social distancing on my backyard patio. Had high expectations because of the bottle and where the rum was made. I thought it tasted too much like whiskey or scotch. My friends, who were whiskey drinkers, enjoyed it so I gave them them. I only two drinks neat and said it wasn't for me.

This is a very light rum without the depth of most aged rums. Light oak, tobacco, a touch of molassis and some spiciness. This would probably make a good mixing rum, but for sipping, it is not for my palette.

Not an easy find in the states, it's something different for sure.

I found a bottle of this in Las Vegas.

Smells and tastes of oak, vanilla, spice, and caramel. A nice above average rum, though I didn't find it exceptional.
