Railean Reserve XO rum, a pot-distilled, Grade A molasses-based rum that’s aged two to three years in double charred American oak barrels (most of which have previously aged Railean rum). Bottled at 80 proof with no color, flavors, or sweeteners added.via American Rum Report
Very good sipping rum. Kelly is a fantastic person and if in the area swing by her distillery.
This is wonderful stuff. Smooth, not too sweet, lots of flavor. I didn't actually like the small flask as well. That's OK, this is a little more economical . . .
Okay on the rocks, really good to mix, a good rum but a little pricey compared to imports.
One of the best US rums I have had. That being said, like all the US rums I have tried, Its not as good as the Caribbean rums and its more expensive.
Rum tasting in Baton Rouge continued with Railean Reserve XO. Unique bottle and label design. Golden color. Pure alcohol mixed with plenty of oak to your nose and palate when neat sipped. Strong and dry burn at the end. Whisky fan boys can add 2 points to my score.
