Nice bottle but thats where it stops. Doesnt taste like an XO and I think there’s a lot of added sugar. Very sweet tasting rum

Na toto XO som bol dosť zvedavý, aj z dôvodu kontroverzných ratingov. Štýlová ťažká fľaša je svojská a takmer dokonalá, s dvoma príveskami a sexi oranžovou šatkou, veľký vínový korok. Vôňa je veľmi príjemná, s výrazným pomarančovým pozadím. Chuťovo ide o trochu ostrejší a surovší stredne sladký rum, okrem citrusov dominuje dub. Každým ďalším dúškom sa stále viac prejavuje umelinka z dochucovania. Napriek označeniu XO v závere už silno stráca dych, drevené tóny sa rýchlo vytrácajú. Vychutený je ale obstojne, aróma ani cukor to celé nezabíjajú. Za daný peniaz človek asi nemôže čakať zázraky. Za mňa subjektívne silná šestka, každopádne o pár levelov lepší ako Don Papa, Bumbu či Demon's Share.

Very nice bottle with lots of decorations. Oranges in the nose when opening the bottle. Quite an alcohol whiff. Taste is not very sweet (according to me), but just enough. With a nice hint of oranges. Quite harsh at the end with a long burn. Quite enjoyable.

Πρόκειται για ένα καλό ρούμι το οποίο όμως έχει μέτρια σχέση ποιότητας - τιμής. Οι ανταγωνιστές του κοστίζουν 10 ευρώ λιγότερο. Άλλο ένα must try rum. Άξιζε την δοκιμή ..... Πάμε για άλλα.

I have read this has an orange flavor to it. This was introduction to premium rum. I haven’t enjoyed this in awhile but I will always remember it fondly.

Stunningly gorgeous rum; great as is in a snifter or as the base for a traditional Mai Tai. Amazing scent of oranges, fruit and the heady cane softness of distilled sugars. Lovely and a grand rum.

This stuff is usually $30 locally, but I picked up a bottle for $14. It's not bad rum, but the flavor is a bit boring. My friends all want to try it when they come to my bar because it "looks" piratey.'I won't be buying this again. There are too many better rums in the world.

Calling this an XO is too much. This baby can burn your socks off.
I read that this drunk needs time to breathe, 1 to 2 hours to reveal its true qualities. Frankly I don't see it. I let it out, I aired it, I warned it.
It is true there are woody, orange notes, but the burn is overpowering.
Nice in a mix though.

Can't believe all the 6s, and 7s. This is truly a great rum for the price.
