Pyrat XO Reserve

It doesn’t have such a full body as it’s more expensive counterparts, but still tastes excellent.

Pyrata XO Reserve - zvláštní vůně doprovázena netipickou chuti. Osobně mi tento rum vůbec nesedí.

While it's not a barn-burner of flavour, this bottle is a great purchase for those who love trying spirits in various scenarios. Single and multi rum daiquiris, mai tais, (pairs great with grapefruit), and a fine sipper to relax with. Yes, there are countless other demeraras that offer more eye-opening and adventurous flavour catalogues, but this rum does the trick for a casual night of sipping an rum reminiscent or orange, cinnamon, and oak while doing other activities.

Magában, vagy mixelve is nagyszerű, nem túl komplex, de nagyon jó rum, viszonylag jó áron.

Ha van olyan rum, amelyik semmi maradandó emléket nem hozott, ez az.

When I had it (ages ago,) Pyrat was overly sweet and not particularly smooth. Plenty of people are saying that they taste "medicinal" flavors. While I don't recall that aspect, I am inclined to believe them. It definetly wasn't the worst rum I've ever had (by a long shot) but it wasn't exactly awesome either and considering it's marketed as a "prestigious" rum, I can safely say it's not really worth the money. There are better rums...don't bother.

Wouldn’t want to drink this straight too much but not bad as a mixer. The abundance of orange is nice in an old fashioned.

I probably smelled oranges, but otherwise I didn't like anything why I should go back to this rum. I had to do something to finish the bottle and make room for proper rums ...

Pomeranče jsem asi cítil, ale jinak v tom nebylo nic, proč bych se měl vracet a měl jsem co dělat, abych láhev dopil a udělal místo pořádným rumům...

Not bad rum, but not my favourite. good for cocktails..
