Pyrat XO Reserve

Pyrat je opravdu kvalita, chutnej, ovocnej, dobrej rum. Je trošku dražší ale nezklame.

The right sweetness and very smooth. Taste: mainly oranges.

Strong taste with a touch of orange. I didn't care for it with coke, but by itself and on the rocks wasn't too bad at all.

I really struggled with this one. When I first opened the bottle, it had a very strong artificial orange smell that (like others mentioned) smelled like a cheap cleaner. I wasn't impressed, so it just sat in my collection for over a year... This time when I tried it, the orange smell was almost gone! So... my review of an opened / aged bottle: This rum has a rich amber colour with strong orange overtones. It has a fairly strong alcohol smell, and tastes a bit strong, but doesn't burn. It is a very unique tasting rum, with a slight "orange candy" flavour. While OK straight, it made an excellent, nice/different rum and cola! Not so bad after all.

I’ve gotta say, I’ve seen some bad/strange reviews on this one. Sweet but not overly so. Quite smooth with not too much alcohol burn. Oranges are forward in the palate for me. Very much enjoy this rum, at most places near me I don’t enjoy the price.

Rum is good but for me ist very strong taste. I must drink it with ginger beer and that is perfect combination or with lemon and cola

I liked this rum added a drop of water. Taste hony, orange a good sipping rum
