Multiple | Aged | 40% ABV | Pot and Column Still Distilled
Plantation XO 20th Anniversary rum is a combination of pot-stilled and column-stilled Barbadian rums that are initially aged in the Caribbean in ex-bourbon casks for 12-20 years. They are then transported to France for a second 12-18 months aging in small French oak casks.
The first bottle of Plantation XO 20th Anniversary was created for the head of Cognac Ferrand Estate Alexandre Gabriel to honor his 20th year running the company. This special gift has resulted in the bottling we see today.

This is an easy drinkables rum, the nose is sweet vanilla, also tones of the cask.
Taste is also sweet, it sips very easy and with minimal afterburn. Only downside being that there are no surprises, I would have liked some more complexity.
The bottle is nice, but its not my cup of tea. I rather have a simple bottle, instead of wastes resources.

Awesome!!! This is my favourite rum so far. Very excellent.
Quite good, especially for $50 or so a bottle. But I feel like Iβve had better for cheaper. Soooooβ¦ itβs a bit tough to pin down, for now

I enjoyed this each time I pour it in a glass. Smooth
One of the most attractive packaging around one of the worst runs Iβve ever had. Not good for drinking or mixing. Ended up throwing out the bottle nearly full.

This rum has it all! Itβs a little sweet, a little woody, a little fruity. Plantation has never made a bad rum in my opinion and this is no exception

It's smooth and sweet and it's so tasty. Packed with load of vanilla. Very good price/performance ratio.
Very nice smooth rum. Hints of vanilla. Very tasteful and with a lot of body.

Someone else said it best - thick and smooth. This rum is magnificent. It has a thick feel, lingering taste, some sweetness, very light burn, leaves you wanting another sip. Light oakiness, great aroma. A must have, not a mixer. Smooth all day.
Enjoy everything this magnificent rum has to offer either neat or on ice.
