Plantation XO 20th Anniversary

Let it sit for 15 minutes after pouring a glass, as it really opens up.
Really nice nose, very smooth, hint of sweetness, and really enjoyable to sip.

Note: I'm a sipper. My opinion is based on sipping characteristics.

You know what a family massacre is? Sipping this immediately after you have had Barbados Grande Reserve. This boy is something else. Something out of this world. The undisputed champion of everything I have ever tried. A mindblowing experience. And I'd only give it 9, because I believe there's something out there in the vast rum universe I'm yet to try that will blow it away.

Good price for what you get. Smooth on the entry and easy on the throat. Very nice to have around for any occasion. Wont let you down

Very good tasting, smooth, one of the best. Do yourself a favor and pick this one up.

Being slightly on the sweet side, it does not qualify as a favourite sipper to me, but I would not be ashamed of pouring a glass to friends, and will happily continue doing so. The best of the sweeter ones I've had so far. It also is a beautiful bottle so 7/10 for me.

This Rum is delicious! Super smooth and sweet. The color is rich, the bottle is fantastic, and the rum lingers after every sip. Glad to have this on my shelf.

Although it's not the absolute top, for its price it's a smooth (yet not simple), very pleasant drink.

Smooth on nose as well as in mount. Very nice for sipping. Sweet but not so much as Zacapa 23 for example. You can feel vanilla, caramel even coconut inside. Very nice bottle too. With price about 40Eur not expensive, this is nice sipping rum for every evening.
Recent update after coming back to bottle. It is a bit burning compared to other rums I have rated on 8. In example Dictador Insolent is much more smooth to me. Now I would give 7.5 to this one
