Multiple | Aged | 40% ABV | Pot and Column Still Distilled
Plantation XO 20th Anniversary rum is a combination of pot-stilled and column-stilled Barbadian rums that are initially aged in the Caribbean in ex-bourbon casks for 12-20 years. They are then transported to France for a second 12-18 months aging in small French oak casks.
The first bottle of Plantation XO 20th Anniversary was created for the head of Cognac Ferrand Estate Alexandre Gabriel to honor his 20th year running the company. This special gift has resulted in the bottling we see today.

Tastes like a heavily sugared version of their Barbados 5 yr. No idea why this still sells, just pour some simple syrup in cheap rum and save yourself the $

Smooth, sweet so so - not too much, not too little. Strong vanilla aroma and even the coconut tones. Really a pleasure to sip.

The smell is very woody and fruity. The first sip was a little bit burning in my esophagus but one sip later it was fine. The taste is very nice but not so good as the grand anejo but still delicious. And in the cola I like Him the most. I give it an 8!!

One of the best rums I've tried so far.
Very solid with a long finish
Enjoyed a bottle a while back, but my last bottle was per my title. Did I get the bottom of the barrel? A batch that was over sweetened and flavored? For the price and with all the added sugar and flavors I will look elsewhere for a nice sipper.

Most of the Plantation rums are out of my taste, but this is a really good one. Balanced, rich, clear.

I always have a bottle of this in my cabinet. It’s a nice rum to sip. I like to give this rum as a gift since it goes down easy.

The decanter style bottle and the colour of the rum are just two of the points that attract people to buy before they taste this it. Then they certainly will not be disappointed. Pour into a glass there is a gentle aroma of pineapple and citrus. Take a sip and there is a soft burn of flavour in the mouth. It slides down giving a warm feeling. This rum is for any rum drinker to enjoy.
