You can drink it on the rocks if desired, but I find it a little under aged for that.....still far more drinkable in that mode than any bacardi or the like will EVER be.
I have spoiled so many people with this rum, once tasted in a fine rum and coke, you will never be able to go back to the big name brands ever again. Smooth and flavourful with harsh aftertaste. Fantastic price point and without a doubt the best mixer rum I've ever bought.....
Best rum and coke mixer with no guilt from mixing a higher priced alternative.

This tastes like someone added pineapple juice. Too fruity

It's been said many times, but I'll repeat it: What a value! A lovely amber color, this gentle nectar goes down smoothly and gives your tongue a nice hug. It is well-balanced and flavorful and has a nice love bite. Many rums at similar prices evoke the feeling of being at the gas pump, while this one truly does take you somewhere sunny and warm, and not on a riptide, but on the lazy river. This may be my new go-to for June day-sipping by a turquoise pool, and I would even love to just stare at the bottle if I couldn't drink it. Just as Siouxsie Sioux's fishnets make her all the more goth and all the hotter, Plantation's jute netting makes it feel all the more 'rum' and all the more attractive. Wowzers! You gotta try it.

One of the most inoffensive rums I've tried, and I mean that in the most complimentary way possible. There's not much that stands out on the nose besides some gentle vanilla and a vague fruityness. The entry on the palate is smooth and sweet, with more vanilla. No harshness or difficult flavors. The finish is consistent with the initial impressions and doesn't dry out fast or overstay its welcome. Hard to imagine any place you'd need to use a rum where this one wouldn't do fantastically, particularly for the price.

Could use a little more complexity, but a great and smooth rum for the price range.

A smooth taste, not too much burn. A very well rounded rum.

Great character. Baking spices, vanilla, oak. Good kick, generous finish.

Figured I'd give this a try at on sale for $27. Not exactly what I was expecting. The added sugar is like way upfront. It even overpowers the alcohol which surprised me. I'm a fan of their Fiji rum and that supposedly has the same sugar content at around 16/gpl. Although this has a nice bajan flavor once you get through the sugar it seems more like 2-3yr (Fiji) instead of the stated 5yr. Glad it was on sale and I tried it but will stick with the Fiji which is the same price and more enjoyable IMO!

Nice complex flavor and a value at $25US (2022). Something you can have everyday and still enjoy without breaking the bank.
