Plantation Barbados 5-Year

Plantation is one of my favorites on the rocks. Great aroma of vanilla and not overly sweet. I like to let the ice melt and blend in for a few minutes and it's oh so smooth. Even straight up it's very good without any burn. For the price I don't think it can be beat.

Finally managed to find some Plantation Rum in South Africa! Absolutely amazing! Definitely has similar notes to the Plantation XO and very smooth, rich mouth feel! Vanilla scented, rich dark taste - this is exactly what rum should taste like!!!

It is wonderfull and very unique sweet rum. Full of tropical fruits like banan and mango. Great value for the price and good for beginners too.

Don't drink this straight - there's much better for that. This is an ideal choice for simple cocktails that let the rum flavor stand out. I suggest cuban daiquiris (aka, the original daiquiri) - one lime, cane syrup, a shot of this. Shake with crushed ice and strain (rather than blend). Crowd favorite every summer night. Fit me the best Rum with a affortable price you can enjoy in Parties. It's flavour ist very rich yet not too sweet nor spicy. It ist very smooth to drink.

Another one to always have on the shelf, very good value for money. Oak, toffee and vanilla taste but beautifully entwined.

This is my standard rum for smoking cigars. Great flavors that always complement the tobacco. The price is perfect since I go through it so fast!

I prefer this served chilled. Excellent sipping rum, fruity taste.
