The rum has fantastic smell and taste.

Tried it on holiday and loved it, ended up bringing back a bottle and been replacing it constantly. Vanilla rum with coke on a hot day is hard to beat

Extraordinary rum - lighter colour, full fruity and fresh smell and nice warming and complex taste with fruit and spices. Nice!

Its nice straight up or with coke but probably on par with rums that cost about £10 less. The vanilla flavour isnt overly strong but overall quite smooth and tasty.

Tonight's Rum: Pink Pigeon from Mauritius. Re-sampling. There's a lot of orange and vanilla in the bouquet of this nice Rum. You might even detect a bit of clove or nutmeg. This one comes off as a spiced Rum. The first taste is of vanilla and hint of chocolate, the orange doesn't continue. In the mouth, a bit of a swirl is mild, not to sharp. On the throat it's sweet with a bit of earthiness, still strong with vanilla. The finish has a slight bitterness, but now the orange and other citrus notes appear. It's a light Rum overall well suited for being served neat. 8 out of 10.

The pink pigeon is a one of a kind flavored rum. An unaged neutral spirit that is infused with heavy doses of vanilla and nutmeg actually makes for a great sipper.Has gotten very hard to find in the USA since it's 2011 rollout,but can still be easily mail ordered from England.

First had a shot of this in TGI Fridays, heard a lot about it, not disappointed, seems a lot of flavours hoping on. Sure it will grow on me more, so purchased a bottle...

I'm not generally a fan of really sweet rums, but this is delicious... it tasted even better as it was free!

Very hard to find in Australia but i would recommend picking up a bottle if you come across one. Very sweet and quite heavy on the Vanilla. Normally drink this one neat with a couple of ice cubes, goes down very smooth.
