Tasted at Laka Lono 6/12/22
From the notes: This rum made my jaw tingle (doodle of a heart appears here so this must be a good thing?)
This rum is sweet and delicious. I would mix this with a coca cola or pineapple juice, on ice.

Unique in flavor with the marriage of various Caribbean rums and heavier Indian rum. Honey, caramel, warming spices, hint of Indian spice, subtle vanilla and some citrus nuances providing a flavorful change of pace from the so called beaten path.
I enjoy the many offerings from India, and this is yet another rum that satisfies as a sipper or mixer. This is not an easy rum to find...

Tasted at Laka Lono on 9/11/18. Once again, I'm a fan of Indian rums it seems. This is delicious. Caramel aroma in nice. Maple sweetness with some bourbon notes. A slight anise finish. I'll be devastated if these rums are grain alcohol with artificial flavors.

This is blend of Caribbean (Jamaica, Barbados, Guyana) and Indian sorts. 42.8Β° feels exactly 43Β°. I didn't not detect Barbados in there, but notes of Guyana and Jamaica. Its medium body, well balanced between dry and sweet. Easy on nose and palate. Sort of unique, exotic taste: dried raisins, fruits, a bit flowery. Aftertaste is the same as on palate - short, but fine.

Well done Amrut!

This is a great blend. Made of Caribbean and Indian rum. It's not sweet at all, more on the english style rum side.

N- Brown sugar with spicy sphere in the heart, subtle spices, drift of milky masala chai fragrant with ripe fruits. (19/25)

P- Dark sweet smokes follow by bright sour fruits and pickled sweet ginger, with spirit on the edge. (19/25)

F- Medium, soft texture but well filled brown with dose of sweet molasses lingers. (19/25)

Balance- Sippable, decent. And no, it doesn't have the taste of whisky. (19/25)

I like this one very much. It's a bit spicy and mixes very well with cola. One of my favourites. Straight up there are probably better ones. Not expensive.

Worth trying overall. Not much burn. Inexpensive, and punches above weight for the price, but wont wow you neat or on a cube of ice. A bit rich more so than sweat, and not dry if that pairs well with your food/evening.

Gentle fruits and spices paired with kind sweetness and warm short aftertaste
