Nose is strong toffee but consistency is thick like a candied zacapa, interesting for the collection sippable if you lean towards dessert type cordials

Tiene un buen aroma en nariz, casi un presagio de lo que se avecina en boca, es bastante dulce pero con carácter, se notan los 40 grados pero es un sabor suave y meloso muy frutal no quema nada está bastante logrado, se merece más y desde luego yo lo veo más cerca del 8 que del 7 pero el sistema de puntuación es el que es.
Me costó sobre 20 con algo € es una buena adquisición ya que era el estuche con vasos.
Nunca lo mezclaría.

The sugar cane come from Java, Naga is an old rum resulting from a fermentation made from Javanese malted red rice yeast.
The aging is done in Jati barrels and then in Bourbon barrels.
The nose is marked by notes of caramel and very black molasses and a touch of vanilla.
The palate is smooth, sweet and thick, with still simple flavors of caramel and vanilla. We can feel the woody side, with an almost humid and tropical wood. The finish is very discreet and a little too light in my opinion.
I bought this rum which I found curious but I will not do it again. Not my taste.

Very unique rum. Sweet up front but with an interesting taste signature that I've never tasted before. Likely because of the way it's made. I really liked it.

I was to nosy, to try this special territory for produce rum. The smelt was average, nothing special but taste, what is more important for me to rate it, was not polite. I feel there lot of flavour which was not suitable for me.

Zelená fľaša z neho robí ľahko rozpoznateľný rum na pohľad. Fľaša má korkový úzáver i keď iba plastový, v tejto cenovej kategórii za mňa mínus.
Farba: svetlejšia karamelová
Vôňa: korenistá, bylinková - pre mňa nie je príliš prirodzená pre rum = nesedí mi
Chuť: karamelová, jemne mango, banán, menej nasladlá, silný korenistý záver s prechodom až do alkoholovej dochute a nejakej byliny, ktorá skôr pripomína konskú masť :)
Kúpil som ho za 25€ , bežne stojí 30€. Za tie peniaze si rozhodne viem predstaviť lepší rum.
Ak má niekto rád veľmi korenisté rumy, tak skôr nech siahne po Marama Spiced Fijian Rum, ktorý ho určite predčí vo všetkých smeroch.

Bien que ce rhum se distingue par une recette qui se rapproche du breuvage originel, le côté un peu suret de la levure de riz rouge utilisée lors de la fermentation, m'a laissé sur ma fin.
Suis pas très fan !

Le nez est d’abord marqué par des notes de sucre cuit et caramélisé. Ce côté brûlé nous amène à une mélasse bien sombre, épaisse et réglissée. Malgré quelques touches de vanille, c’est bien cette réglisse noire qui saisit, avec un marc de café bien noir lui-aussi, ainsi que des fruits à coque très torréfiés et même bien grillés.
L’aération assouplit un peu la direction prise par ce rhum. Son profil plutôt simple navigue entre la vanille et le sucre caramélisé, et le café devient noisette ou encore café au lait. Le bois toasté est enrobé de caramel, ainsi toutes les notes les plus sombres du premier nez s’arrondissent peu à peu.
La bouche est douce, sucrée et épaisse, avec des saveurs toujours simples de caramel et de vanille. La torréfaction saisit un court instant mais le caramel revient aussitôt, comme un miel un peu cuit. Le boisé est humide, il rappelle presque le papier, voire même le carton mouillé. Les épices sont légères, elles effleurent la langue, une petite céréale donne une impression de pain moelleux.
La finale est assez discrète, sans lourdeur, avec un côté fumé / grillé en toute fin.
