As most rums from "South Pacific Distillery" this one is funky, zesty, pungeant and a bit "chemical", in the good way. Most of the time they are not very far from jamaican style, please keep it in mind when trying a Fijian rum. That being said this one is lighter and sweeter than some other ester-bombs from Fiji. Not bad, but a little weak I would say. Not my favourite Fijian.

Tried it on ice. It had a harsh alcohol burn with very strong chemical/aniseed taste. Filled the tumbler with coke, but yet the chemical taste prevails.
