Conviviality Rolling Calf Spiced Spirit

This is going to be a marmite rum. It's only 35% so that will create some issues for a start, although there are "rums" on here which are less strong.

Personally, I like it. Traditional rum it ain't and it tastes very stongly of vanilla. It is probably either completely or largely chemical vanilla at that. The next flavour you encounter is lime and then quite a way back from that other assorted spices, especially cinnamon.

It's very sippable - most of my friends and family who tried it loved it. It is smooth, sweet and a great social rum. It would go down well at a table over Christmas or at any other time if there is a card game or other type of game on - and you could pass it around as a sipper or also drink it like shots or with mixers or ice.

The nearest thing to it would be either Admiral Vernons Old J or Pink Pigeon, but this is much nicer than the latter - less perfumey and smoother.

The marmite nature of this will mean it will get a very wide array of marks.
