Mr. Boston Dark

I've used the Light for my Rum & Coke Zero for a while. I thought that I would try the Dark. A nice surprise. It's a little smoother and tastier than the White. I taste slight bananas & vanilla notes. For $13.49 for a handle, not a bad cheap rum.

I really don't know why I tried this rum. I was fascinated by it's extremely low price. I never mix my rum. For me it's on the rocks. I was definitely surprised at the relative smoothness. I was not surprised by the taste which is almost nonexistent. I will probably never buy this rum again, but I have had several worse bottles at well above this price.

If your looking for a decent cheap Rum, this isn't bad. For a few more dollars you should upgrade to Bicardi or even better Cruzan.
