This rum has a nice light golden colour, with a mild sweet and citrusy smell with an alcohol backdrop. This is not a sipping rum, as it is a little alcohol - strong... That said, it's naked flavour is very interesting - I can't identify the spices, however they are very pleasant. This rum makes a surprisingly nice rum and coke, providing a subtle citrusy spice flavour. Tasty!
Try to get a well lit shot from the front of the rum label

Vanilla, orange, and honey

I have stayed away from Wicked Dolphin Rums for many reasons. Then I remembered getting a bottle of this on my snorkeling trip to the Florida Keys back in May of 2017. I referred to my very detailed trip diary and lo and behold, there this rum was hiding.
Initially, I was blown away by it's taste that I compared to Drambuie. It is a craft rum from Cape Coral, Florida. The label specifically stated tastes of vanilla, orange, and honey which describes the taste accurately. I liked it so much at first that I had to go join the BYOB party at the pool with it. After drinking the first half of the bottle on the rocks, I called it a night. The next morning, I awoke to a "king hell hangover". I then went to the store and got a pint of pineapple coconut ice cream to mix it with. This made an awesome pina colada for one fourth of the bottle. Then I poured the remaining fourth of bottle down the drain. I at least got my $30 worth out of it before having to fly back home, but not without ill after effects. If it were not for this nasty penalty, I would rate it as a 7.
