Matusalem Gran Reserva 15-Year

Good smooth rum on the sweet side best sipped on rocks. I actually prefer the 10yr not shown here, I'd give that 7 or 8. I get it in Mexico for half what it sell in US.

This is what I call a light bodied rum. I ended up rum and coking the entire bottle.

Well I don’t smell there any special notes. I’m not an expert but for me it’s simply mediocre.

Slightly acerbic, but also flat from the beginning to the end. No suprises, a decent sipper.

Description smells strong and elusive. Smells like Christmas. A bit Smokey.
Nice and gentle to sip neat. Not overwhelmed by a sharp alcohol but rather a easy set of flavours. Smells much fruiter than other alcohols when mixed. Same lush sensation as the white rum but with a bit more spice. After taste is a little bitter as it follows through. 8

Zajímavý rum, je to Solera, takže u věku nevím nevím, ale ten rum mě baví.

Special occasion. Dry, a bit harsh, but of high quality. It was enjoyable and didn't last long.

Aged 15 years this rum should be much better. I find it average with a burn, so why bother. Washed out mild flavors and alcohol burn.

This is not to my liking.
Blandly innocuous.
So much better out there, after buying a bottle of this once, I’ll not be fooled again.
