Nice rum, not spectacular, a little thin for my taste, but I was not disappointed.

Az illata fogott meg. Főleg a vanília érződik selymesen, és ez kellemes lágy ízeket ígér. De nem. A karakteres ízvilág helyett inkább erélyes sőt, erőszakos kaparós hatása elég férfias itallá kategorizálja. Sokkal többet vártam tőle. Egy Red Leg több meglepetést tartogat, a Spytail-ről nem beszélve, de kezdő rum kóstolónak is előbb ajánlanék egy Barchellot, ami azért enyhén olcsóbb. Bár ez utóbbi meglepően jófajta rum az árához képest. Szóval számomra egy csalódás volt, az üveg szép, de a díszdoboz az elég csúnya, hogy benne tárolja az ember. Nem ajánlom, sokkal finomabb, izgalmasabb rumok vannak ebben az ár kategóriában, sőt olcsóbban is.

Tasted at Laka Lono on 10/17/21. Amber gold in color. Huge chocolate aroma. That was unexpected. Has a meaty flavor. A bit of burnt gunpowder. Cocoa. Maple syrup. Cocoa nibs. Powerfully good.

OK won't make my top 3 but the vanilla forward and caramel edges make this an interesting change from the norm. The total absence of heat/spice fits the taste profile but maybe keeps it off the top shelf. No regrets and would buy again just irregularly

Lovely little drop.. flavoursome and initially punchy I like what it offers. Not sure if I’d be happy to pay full price tag for it but at the half price I got it for you could call it my new fav. Nice work again from the Dominican Republic.

Light amber, faint nose, but nicely balanced and very easy to sip. Enjoyed it at a friends and it was pleasant. He’s a Bourbon fan, and this was his first aged Rum. He could have done worse.

Niezbyt słodki, z wyraźnymi nutami dębu, do tego wanilia, toffi, cynamon, może trochę tytoniu, skórek cytrusów. Trochę przypomina mi łagodną whisky. Na pewno do spróbowania. Trunek o sporej tradycji. Raczej do lepszych koktajli, lub solo, szkoda go do coli.
