Not so good as expected from a 25 years old rum. No coherence between the flavours.

Typical banana/mandarine smell like in all Malecons.
I think there is not a big difference to Malecon 21.
Smell: vanilla, banana, some mandarine, caramel, oak, light bitterness
Taste start/middle: vanilla, banana, burned suggar, wood, wet barrel
Finish: spice, some caramel
Aftertaste: caramel
Sweetness: 2.5/5
Spice: 2.5/5
Fruit: 3/5
Mildness: 4/5

Původ: Panama
Aroma: Těžší dřevo, kůže, těžce květinové aroma. (86 b)
Chuť: Velmi vyzrálý, dřevo ale začíná dominovat. Lékořice, kůže, opálené dřevo, v dochuti až dřevěné uhlí. Oproti 21 yo přibylo dřeva a taninů, což už je spíš ke škodě, dřevitost mi už přijde rušivá. I přesto má něco do sebe, vyzrálost je fajn. (86 b)
Body: 86/100
Shrnutí: Ochutnal jsem na další společné ochutnávce s kamarádem. Tentokrát tvořila jádro degustace šestice single cask rumů od Rum & Cane, tuto sestavu pak doplnily rumy Malecon 21 yo a 25 yo. Tento skončil na 3. místě z osmi (Hunter 4.-5., josé 1.-3.).
Manque un peu de watts ! Mais agréable, peut-être trop court en arrière bouche

This is a good solid rum.
Smells and tastes of caramel, oak, burnt sugar, vanilla, tobacco, and a light hint of spices. Nice!

Schönes Mahagoni mit Goldreflexen im Glas.
In der Nase überraschend frisch und fruchtig für Sein alter. Dunkle Schokolade, weisse Trauben, getoastetes Holz, gebranntes Karamell und Gewürze lassen das Wasser im Munde zusammenlaufen.
Im Gaumen eine sanfte explosion von Aromen. Absolut lecker diese verschiedenen Arten von Kakao und Schokolade im Mund. Dazu gesellt sich noch ein wenig Holz, Karamell, Zimt, Nelken und eine Priese Salz.
Im Abgang dominiert die dunkle Schokolade, gefolgt von Karamell, Früchten und Gewürzen.
Ein spitzen Ron der richtig Freude macht. Für Einsteiger und Fortgeschrittene. 8+

In the nose surprisingly fresh and fruity for the age. Dark chocolate, white grapes, toasted wood, burnt caramel and spices make the mouth water.
On the palate a gentle explosion of aromas. Absolutely delicious these different types of cocoa and chocolate in the mouth. Added to this is a little wood, caramel, cinnamon, cloves and a pinch of salt.
In the finish dominates the dark chocolate, followed by caramel, fruits and spices.
A pointed Ron who really gives pleasure. For beginners and advanced. 8+
