Kraken Black Spiced

I have just started my rum experience. I’ve only tried a few rums and kraken is my favourite so far. I’m rating it as a 10 right now because I haven’t tried any other rum that’s better then this. Eventually when I do try more rum I’ll most likely find better rums and will re evaluate and adjust my rating.

(Update: changed it from 10 to an 8 because I’ve tried more better rums and this one has to drop lower)

I first tried this one straight and it's ok as a sipper but not great. Then i tried it with coke and i really liked it.

This is nice but not the best rum I have drank. Bitter after notes.

good spirit, to surprise people who's not into rum. very artificial and sweet but good value for money. way better than captain morgan

Not a bad rum. Although the vanilla is a bit strong.

This rum works very vell with ice, lime & coke. Several bottles have been consumed over the years

I'm not that into rums but spiced rum is another story. I (as I suppose most did) started out with the Captain and found it delicious 😋. Later tried some others. Ups and downs here and there. Tried The Kraken! Definitely a better spiced rum than most. Kind of sweet, strong but not overwhelming. Great aroma and hints of vanilla and spices. The Kraken is easy drinking and at the same time it's strong! How they do it? I don't know 🤷🏽‍♂️😜.

Most of all i like the bottle it's very nice.
The taste is a bit sharp with a sweet aftertaste.

Easy drinking but better tasting rums out there to try
