Kraken Black Spiced Rum was first introduced by Proximo Spirits in 2010 . The dark rum is infused with 11 “secret” spices, caramel and other natural flavors.
The rum gets its name after the mythical sea creature 'The Kraken'. As legend has it, this terrifying creature attacked ships at sea during the 18th and 19th centuries - possibly for all the rum on board.

Lot of spices flavours and also taste is not so clear and smooth. This is only 4/10 rum, good for mixing to the drinks
I can hardly feel many spices from nosing.
It is very sweet on the palate, with fairly mild spices.
A quick and easy drink.
By the way, the miniature is surely a nice little collection on display.
Very nice to drink on the rocks, but too harsh to enjoy solo.

This rum is for those who say that they hate rum, but in reality, the only rum that they tried is Captain Morgan or Bacardi. Take their tooty fruity, sugar laden daiquiri and set it aside, and hand this a shot of this on ice. While it is wayyyyy too sweet for a serious rum fan, it may just convert the beginner.

Will drink if nothing else is available, not bad, but not really my go to rum
