Kraken Black Spiced Rum was first introduced by Proximo Spirits in 2010 . The dark rum is infused with 11 “secret” spices, caramel and other natural flavors.
The rum gets its name after the mythical sea creature 'The Kraken'. As legend has it, this terrifying creature attacked ships at sea during the 18th and 19th centuries - possibly for all the rum on board.

Exceptional taste, definitely wil extend Kraken lineage
Geen fan van. Smaakt teveel naar drop en is een beetje waterig.
Very sweet and tasty rum, great choice for cuba libre and for mixing coctails.
Its very good, but a bit harsh... I like the high proof as I don't need to wait to long to get a buzz.

I thought this was going to be a sweet (in a nasty way) gimmicky rum, but instead, found this to be alot nicer than I thought it would be.
Yes..it is sweet, but with a blend of bitterness or perhaps rather savouriness that isn't left on the tongue.
Nice either neat or with a drop of coke.
Cool bottle, a premium low quality rum. Good for mixing.
Not the greatest by itself, but it goes great with pretty much everything you would mix with rum. Lot of flavor and spice, and very affordable!
