The first thing you notice when you smell it is have I cracked open a bottle of bourbon and then the taste is like that too.Letting it breathe 24 hours lessens the oaky/bourbon tones but still it's too much,it's quite dry with a decent burn at the end and definitely has no added sugar. You can definitely see the rum scene changing in Australia for the better but this one needs a bit of work to be great
Try to get a well lit shot from the front of the rum label

On first impression - Mild alcohol burn and strong taste of vanilla essence (cheap) and very thin. A bit ordinary and underwhelmed by the taste up straight. The bottle has been allowed to breathe and now it is becoming enjoyable with more defined taste of a better quality rum.
Straight - it's still a little thin but pleasant and Mixed - is very easy to consume.
Grab a bottle when you can for something unique / exotic, but it easily fits in with the crowd of many rums sitting in the 7s.
