Havana Club 3-Year rum is produced from molasses and aged for 3 years in white oak barrels before filtering and bottling.
Havana Club rum is produced in Cuba, where the company was founded in 1878 by José Arechabala. The company was nationalized in 1959 after the Cuban Revolution and now jointly owned by Pernod Ricard and the Cuban government.

So there you are in the liquor store, staring at the rows of rum and wondering which one will be unnecessarily added to your bourgeoning bar. You have more bottles than your favourite boozer but It’s an itch to be scratched and it’s not worth kidding yourself.
So if you are looking for light then you can do much worse than this.
It’s the full 80 proof which is nice and it works in what ever drink you choose. I like it with lime and sugar.
Slightly thicker mouthfeel than some and a fullness of flavour that is missing from some other light rums.
Very good with cola, not the cheapest, but very popular and accessible.. Therefore one of my top picks
Been enjoying this one since the days in The Fish in Cheltenham back in 1999
There’s a reason this rum is used in La Bodeguita and El Floridita in Havana. It makes pretty good cocktails. I don’t recommend this one straight or on the rocks. And: value for money.
If you are looking for a rum to use in a cocktail, look no further.
Bacardi has nothing on this
Havana club 3 year old is one of the best white rums for cocktails. Definitely a lot better then bacardi. Havana 3yo is sweet and very smooth rum, but still has a rummy kick in it. Havana 3 yo is my choice as a mixer for cocktails.
I wasn’t expecting much considering its overall rating of 6 here. But I was pleasantly surprised. Went down smooth. I liked it.
With an average price of 17€ and very good distribution channel, it was the first "Anejo" I have tried and still like it.
Straight, with cola, or mojito, the smooth taste will never let you up.
It's with coke and good with mojitos little harsh drinking it straight
'intense nose with accents of vanilla, caramelized pears'
"Havana Club 3-Year rum review by The Ultimate Rum Guide"
The nose is very sweet.
"When sipped the rum is fairly smooth but it doesn’t have an abundance of flavour. Its sweet but very short."
Try to get a well lit shot from the front of the rum label
