Havana Club rum is produced in Cuba, where the company was founded in 1878 by José Arechabala. The company was nationalized in 1959 after the Cuban Revolution and now jointly owned by Pernod Ricard and the Cuban government.

nothing special, nothing bad, just for a long moments. No problem to shot it. Smooth, okay, not so strong, not so sweet. Just okay.

Nothing special but fine for rum and cokes etc certainly miles ahead of barcadi. Very smooth and cheap
This was my first rum which I thought rum can be a great cocktail drink. It was a big step up since only bacardi superior was available in the markets at the time...

Really only good as a mixer. Peppery/spicy finish (which was expected after drinking another of the Havana Club rums). It is very raw meaning that giving it some extra aging time would probably enhance it 10 fold. Good luck!

Cuban rums like their cigars are rather over rated. Mostly due to the whole you can't have me aspect in the US due to the historic trade embargo. Havana club 3 is a nice light rum with nothing really special about it

This is a good rum for making rum based cocktails. Not a white rum but a better stand-in for me when making popular cocktails

What better rum for your cocktails of Cuban origin? Perfect for Daquiris and Mojitos.

This rum does not make sense to evaluate for direct consumption, as it is mainly intended for the preparation of rum drinks. I have personally made Mojitos and Daiquiris with it and both of them tasted great. I'm still going to try the Mai Tai.
