Reminds me a lot of Ron Zacapa. Sweet taste with hint of of molasses.

Aromas of caramel, vanilla and barrel. Flavor is barrel, caramel and maybe brown sugar. Gets better everytime I have it

If I had to guess, Iโ€™d say this is distilled at Foursquare. Simply speculation/guessing but the more you let it sit, and considering it was only $17, Iโ€™d say itโ€™s a sip-able winner. Might let the bottle sit for a while and see if it helps.

It wasn't a bad rum. Good for the price. Fairly strong.

Smells okay so I thought the flavor would be stronger but the flavor really does get drowned out by any mixer added. Straight it's similar to Morgan, which for the price and the claim of being a 5-year aged rum isn't what I wanted from this rum. I wanted a more full bodied flavor. I wanted a flavor but it seems to have been wasted on the aroma. Still, it isn't a bad rum just lacking a personality.

Decent enough straight, in a pinch. Ok in mixed potions. Mild taste, brief finish. โ€˜Nuff said.

Definitely a mixer not a sipper. Might be OK with Coke.

Ok rum, not a lot of wow flavors to it. Drown out by Coke easily. Better flavor straight.

Decent rum, nothing to write home about. Has a nice west indies pot still taste to it. Bottle says aged 5 years, perhaps a bit more aging might bring out some more exotic flavors. Hints of vanilla and oak.

Started out with a 3 rating, as the flavor was nothing impressive. As I sampled over several days, it improved, but not by much.
