This isn't the spiced rum that you buy by the gallon in the US. I wonder if that's what a lot of the other reviewers were looking for. This is a Jamaican Rum made by Wray & Nephew. A bit young, but drinkable. It has a light and creamy nose, a crisp, dry mouth feel with a bit of oakiness, but not much funk (which I was expecting, even hoping for). It has long finish with just a little heat, this would mix well in punches and tiki drinks.
There appear to be a few cases of mistaken identity with this particular bottle. The packaging appears to be discontinued in the Netherlands, it is now branded as CM dark rum with no mention of origin. Same stuff, same huge amounts of froth, same great taste with coke.
Better than a poke it the eye but not my favorite.
Производители из Diageo придумали заглушить алкогольные пары сильным запахом жжёного сахара. Вкус практически отсутствует, заметна сладость, горечь и жжение. Эффект опьянения без негатива, наутро фон заметен.
Not really a favorite of mine, but for mixing with cola it is oke
Maybe its not a high class sipping rum, but still ok for the price, its more easy to drink than i expected.
Very basic rum with poor aroma and taste. I don't think I will buy one more.
Try to get a well lit shot from the front of the rum label

It’s not great by any means, but it’s so basic and only available in Jamaica that it makes it awesome and gives it an extra 2+ in the ratings
