Plantation 2003 Trinidad

A bit strong kick for a sipper, but a great after taste.

A mile away from my usual type of rum, this light floral number is excellent.

We just had the 2008 Trinidad and damn boy, 2003 is kicking all them asses.

This is the right stuff. Nice aroma of caramel, honey. Smooth, decent sweetness and medium long taste of arrack, papaya, caramel, pear. You got to try this.

12 year double aged. Having tried most of the Plantation line up with little disappointment I bought a bottle of this. For a 12 year aged rum it has the flavor and smoothness not found in a rum in this price range. It’s sweet, not dry just the way I like it. Great!!

The value for the money is great and it is a Caroni,the Plantation Trinidad until 2003 is Caroni´and you will not find a Caroni for 30 Euro....
Its not a Caroni 1996 Kirsch or a Velier Last, but for this price it is like a gift....

My first good Rhum, vanilla is the first aroma that i notice, smooth tasting and leaves you wanting more. Going to enjoy !!!

At first it felt a bit too alcoholic but aftet few sips my tongue got used to that and only well balanced taste remained.

This is a great rum for a great price.
Aged 8 years ind bourbon casks in Trinidad and additional 4 years France create a great rum.
Light citrus fruits in the nose and flowers. Not to sweet in the mouth and more floral notes.
Good stuff

Clear citrus aroma. Nice hints of citrus and arrak and vanilla and nice cask flavors.
