Parádní, jemný a velmi chutný, velmi povedený kousek od Olivera

The taste is rich with Oliver's signature, it is sweet about same level with Centenario 20 or Brugal Leyenda but different, it is more spice-pepper more cirtus and some light smokiness at the end. This one reminds me and has similiritys
With Quorhum 30 but it is enough sweeter, much lighter body, much softer and more spice (very good for beginners). This is not extremely sweet as some say or strange... but ofcourse much more sweeter than an unsweetened rums. I recommended it but bit pricey at around 65€, you can find same or better quality with less money as Presidente 23 or Quorhum 23 and other (I have notice that new Olivers "brands" as Ophyum, Maximo... are expensive and same time bit younger in flavour compared to old stuff in same category). Close to 9 but further aging to this blend would be awesome!!

but not my style!
molasses. sweet. solera aging.
i smell grape and chocolate. a little smoke. dried fruit. caramel. toffee.
i taste vanilla and toffee mixed with some orange peel and mild peppery notes.
4/10 - add 5 points if you like the sweet rums.
full body, sweet, mild, creamy. typical rum from oliver & oliver. boring.

in compare to the quorhum: less smoke, less pepper, more fruit.

For 23-year old I was expecting much more. Some strange flavor inside.

Another solera rum aimed at the sugar lovers. There's nothing XO or exclusive about this one, if you ask me. If you like your Zacapa 23 solera, then by all means go ahead. But in a blind test I wouldn't be able to tell this one apart from all the other sugar infused solera slobs out there.

Quite sweet, but not in obtrusive way. Originally I did not like it at all, to the point I think it was another heavily additive rum, like Riise. But I changed my mind after year or two. If you seek the easiest Oliver rum, this is it.

Beautiful color of brown amber and very oily in the mouth.
This really reminds me of A.H Riise very ultra rare.
It has the same sharp taste and scent of arrak, or the awful liquor-chocolates you found at your grandma's as a child :-P
It goes to say, this is not my new opium.

Sweet rhum, with light citrus notes. Nose uncharacteristic

Well, this rum is perfectly made for me, it is very smooooth, with bit of sweet tones. Very nicely balanced with fruit and chocolate tones. I absolutely love bottle.

Even my wife accepted this rum. Of course , Oliver&Oliver has better rums in their portfólio. Smell is weak ,but you can feel honey and orange. In taste is nothing to offend. Not too sweet. Short aftertaste.
